Creating spaces that a fit for purpose is an essential part of our criteria. With a minimum stud height of 2.4m, you feel cosy but not cramped in one of our ecopods.

Workmanship

We used some super high quality materials in this ecopod, all the way from our Weathertex cladding and UPVC joinery through to FIBO waterproof wall lining in wet areas and high quality melamine kitchen and laundry cabinetry.
Top features
Wooden benchtops:
- Our carpenters carefully cut and joined several lengths of timber benches to create sculpted, natural and warm-feeling work surfaces
Birch ply ceiling:
- Precise 3mm White negative details adorn the ceilings lined in Birch ply - one of our favorite looks for an ecopod!
Beyond tiles / FIBO wall lining:
- The bathroom has a "Shabby Chic" wall lining while the kitchen and laundry have a stunning olive green waterproof lining
LED strip lighting:
- Our electricians and carpenters showing of their collab with a routered backlit workbench in the kitchen and laundry areas make for aesthetic and practical finishing
Functionality/Innovation Design

As the design ethos dictates, form follows function. In our case, the "user experience" has multiple elements all requiring attention, from working areas in front of laundry spaces, through to natural lighting and easy to clean surfaces.
Top features
Maximising use of space:
- The bedrooms are on each end, and there is a laundry in front of the bathroom, making use of the hallway space in front of the bathroom. This eliminates wasted interior space
- The whole back wall of the bedroom is dedicated to wardrobe, so a couple could easily live here together
- Secondary half-bedroom perfectly designed to suit a bunk or single bed, or an ideal home office/studio arrangement
Open plan living:
- The kitchen hugs the walls, so furniture can be arranged to your preference with tables and chairs, for dining or extra workspace.
- Large 2.4m wide ranch slider gives onto the main deck for a great indoor-outdoor flow!
Plenty of windows:
- WIthough compromising on wall area for more storage or artwork
- Including a kitchen window for a more pleasant dishwashing experience!
