Workmanship "The Art of Craftsmanship in the MODEL 6.4" Manufacturing Process (Image from this sheet to this) Our manufacturing process is unique; we meticulously crafted the MODEL 6.4 from sheets of aluminium and plywood. A dedicated three-year CNC setup has allowed us to engineer custom alloy components that make up the entirety of the MODEL 6.4 structure. Floor hinges We manufactured alloy floor hinges specifically for MODEL 6.4 to achieve a door-opening arch. The hinges perfectly demonstrate our engineering workmanship. Kitchen For MODEL 6.4, we meticulously designed a luxury kitchen befitting a multi-million-dollar home in Queenstown. Each element is hand-sanded and finished with exceptional care. The design combines numerous intricate components, seamlessly blending into a simple and elegant kitchen. With MODEL 6.4 being an ultra-compact tiny home, we designed and manufactured a unique unit. We aimed to create a cupboard that complements the living space without overwhelming it.. Crafted from resilient marine plywood, it remains robust against moisture and features door frames that blend traditional Danish mid-century joinery with contemporary twists, achieving a timeless yet modern look. To tackle the challenge of tall doors, we innovated a unique middle hinge point and crafted a handle that integrates seamlessly with the design and provides additional support. This thoughtful approach ensures the cupboard enhances the overall aesthetic while maintaining functionality. The beauty of nature Nature is beautifully imperfect, a concept we embraced in crafting the interior of MODEL 6.4. Using a single type of wood, we set out to create a space that exudes both sophistication and natural charm. Our design approach was subtle, prioritising seamless integration over bold features.
